He was so proud of himself for harvesting such a great crop!
M loved the berries too. He filled up his whole belly!
We went with sisters A and E. Older brother C and baby B too, but they missed my camera today.
I snapped a few images of the berries when we got home. Yes, these were the better looking ones. They were pretty rough after L had squeezed them in the picking process.
The fields emptied out when the raindrops started falling...

This looks like so much fun! We'll have to do this with Eleanor. She loves blackberries specifically. And I have great memories as a kiddo of picking them and then preserving them with my Mom. Makes me think of pretty jars and all that wax. xx
p.s. hands down my favorite picture in this grouping is baby M eating up one of his findings :) so sweet.
Looks like M also filled up his cheeks! SO CUTE! Where did you go? We wanted to go berry picking last week, but didn't get a chance, and we've heard that some of the farms didn't get a good crop this year.
